By Daniel Wood

abstract

The objective of this report is to present the information learnt from my research efforts, giving an insight into the principles, history, and common implementations associated with Voxels.
It also presents the results of my experiment in programming a basic voxel graphics system. The planned program was intended to implement as many features as was manageable with the eventual aim of creating a system which could be used to dynamically edit a voxel object.
