This project involves the development of an automatic facial rigging tool written in Python for Maya, which also integrates the ability to transform the mesh into another in one fluid interpolation while retaining animatable functionality throughout the rig-driven morph. Research into existing facial rigging solutions and anatomy is firstly presented, before proceeding onto a discussion of the development of the tool; which addresses the problem solving underwent, as well as key algorithms used in implementation of the tool.
