CG Tailoring based upon real World Tailoring

View all projects

By Steven Sandles

abstract

This project explores the use of real world tailoring techniques, applied within a CG environment.
An assumption is made that the reader has at least a working knowledge of Maya 8.0, and some
knowledge of Maya’s cloth solver.

The aim of this project is to find methods by which CG garments can be produced, and to make
their simulations faster, more efficient, and somewhat more predictable.
