abstract

For this project I am animating a fight scene from the manga One Piece, following the original manga closely while interpreting elements such as motion, colour and timing not found in it. The animation will follow a more cinematic style rather than the conventional ‘anime-ic’ style found in most anime, so an understanding of both styles and the cinematography used is important.
