Abstract:
(With Paul Routledge)
Cupid is a two minute collaborative 2D animation made by myself and Paul Routledge. We created the piece with strict criteria to follow. Our first objective was to complete the entire animation in a week. Secondly we had to work separately from one another, not looking at each others work until completed. Our final goal was to try to mix our two different artistic styles together to the greatest extent that we could. We assigned ourselves roles in the piece, with Paul doing the line animation and editing, whilst I designed the backgrounds, and filled in the colour for the animation. The story follows Cupid as he performs his job of trying to make people fall in love.
