Procedural Vine Generation

Abstract:

Using computer graphics in order to animate growing vines and trees is rapidly
becoming a widespread technique. It is used in a vast amount of films, music
videos, commercials, and games. This project is focusing on exploration and
analysis of the means of vine creation and growth. As the result of the analysis
the proof-of-concept tool for generation of procedurally animated vine will be
implemented, via MEL script.
